A manufacturer of electrical medical devices decided it would like to market its products in other European countries outside Germany. The devices are particularly suitable for use in the home for applications such as pain therapy or to restore muscle tone after surgery.
An analysis of different European markets revealed that Italy held a great deal of promise as a potential market.
Negotiations were held with potential distributors, leading to the establishment of a permanent marketing cooperation with an Italian homecare company. This new cooperation was communicated by a shared stand at the Intermedica trade fair in Bologna.
